What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a web traffic statistics service provided by Google. Google Analytics is now the most widely used web analytics service on the Internet. Google Analytics also provides an SDK that allows the collection of usage data from iOS and Android apps, called Google Analytics for Mobile Apps.

 

How Google Analytics Works

Google Analytics helps you understand the way people use your Web, Apple, or Android apps.The SDK automatically collects a large number of events and user attributes, and you can also define custom events to measure factors that have a particular impact on your business. Once the data is collected, it can be viewed in the Info Centre through the Firebase console. This Info Centre gives you an in-depth, detailed view of your data, including summary data (such as active user and audience characteristics) and more detailed data (such as identifying your best-selling items).
