What can Google Ads do?
Google Ads is an online advertising platform developed by Google where advertisers bid to show short adverts, service offerings, product listings or videos to web users. It allows adverts to be placed in search engine results such as Google Search, as well as on non-search websites, mobile apps and videos.
Features of Google Ads
Google Ads' system is based partly on cookies and partly on keywords determined by the advertiser. Google uses these features to place ad copy on pages they believe may be relevant. When a user shifts their browsing to click on the advert copy, the advertiser pays for the advert which can be implemented locally, nationally or internationally. Google's text adverts mimic Google's average search results. Image ads can be one of several different standard sizes specified by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).In May 2016, Google announced expanded text ads that allow for 23% more text.
In addition to the Google search engine, advertisers have the option of displaying their ads on Google's partner networks, including AOL Search, Ask.com, and Netscape, which receive a portion of the revenue. In addition to external search engine marketing agencies and consultants, Google has its own in-house team of account managers.
