Oschina's Establishment and Development

Oschina (Open Source China, OSC) was founded in August 2008, and has established a comprehensive open source software classification database, which contains nearly 50,000 world-renowned open source projects in hundreds of different classifications. Around these open source projects, Oschina provides Chinese developers with the latest open source information, software update information, technology sharing and exchange of technical platforms. 2013, Oschina established a code hosting and DevOps platform "Code Cloud Gitee", providing developers with team collaboration, source code hosting, code quality analysis, code review, code development, and other services. Current status of Oschina

Oschina has become a well-known open source technology community in China, with 5 million developers active in the community, and has been committed to promoting the application and development of domestic open source software, enhancing local open source capabilities, and providing support for the optimisation of the open source ecosystem.
