What features does LastPass have?

Strong encryption algorithms. AES-256-bit encryption is implemented using PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes for complete security in the cloud. You will create a password manager account with an email address and strong master password to generate unique encryption keys locally.

 

Local encryption only. Your data is encrypted and decrypted at the device level. Data stored in your vault is confidential, even with LastPass. Your master password and the keys used to encrypt and decrypt your data are never sent to LastPass' servers and are never accessed by LastPass.

 

Multi-factor authentication. Multi-factor authentication adds extra security to your LastPass account by requiring a second login step before authorising access to your vault.
