As a neutral marketplace, Playerup supports player-to-player transactions for over 1,000 games to date.Instead of exchanging or selling game assets directly, Playerup manages and offshore transactions to ensure that everything goes smoothly and that both buyers and sellers have a secure transaction.

Sellers then have the option of transacting directly through the buyer at no cost to them, or using Playerup as a third party to secure payment and keep assets in escrow until the buyer verifies delivery, at which point the buyer's funds are released to the seller. Using this system, which Playerup calls a ‘middleman’, neither the buyer nor the seller shares personal information and the transaction is guaranteed.
